Over the past couple of months, my husband and I have been investigating flipping houses in other area
s. We feel that this might be to our advantage and have been giving it some serious thoughts. Actually, we have been looking at some Costa Rica Real Estate. It seems property there is inexpensive and the market in Costa Rica is doing great. If you think about it, then what would be better than purchasing some vacation property and flipping it to make money from every time you rent it out? Or even better, buy a house to flip and then sell it to retirees that are always moving to this area. We realize there are going to be lots of research on codes and rules for flipping a house in another location, and a lawyer will do all of the title search work for us, but this would be a property we could benefit from for years to come.

I've got a cousin living in Guanacaste. Says it's pretty beautiful. I have been investigating a little about flipping opportunities since everyone is telling me that now is the time to buy where I live (Cape Carol Florida). And it may just be. But the Florida market scares me a bit. I'm not sure if it's the right time yet. I'm going to do some research in Costa Rica as well to see where the best options could be. Thanks for the info.
